CFF wanted to renovate their premises of the Vevey train station and we were interested in creating a medical center there with an immediate care service. At the end of 2017, we started thinking about renovating the premises, integrating different health players. We wanted to concentrate our efforts on the purpose of the rapid management of patients within the immediate care service as well as consultations of general medicine, pediatrics, and other specialties in which medical offer is lacking in the region ( endocrinology-diabetology, neurology, dermatology).
The renovation work of the medical center started in March 2019. After a year of work, the center opened its doors at the beginning of February 2020. To date, we’re able to offer you a medical center that is open 7 days a week as well as consultations in general medicine, neurosurgery, pediatrics, and nursing services.
We have 8 consultation rooms, 5 treatment rooms, a digital medical radiology installation, sonography (ultrasound), laboratory analysis laboratory.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Centre médical Gare de Vevey.
