Pediatrics is a medical specialty that focuses on the care of children from birth up to the age of 16. The pediatrician provides comprehensive and specific care for each child. It has both a curative and preventive goal.
Our pediatric department offers a range of consultations:
These regular check-ups monitor your child’s growth and development and address any parental concerns. Key preventive examination milestones are at 1, 2, 4, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, and 24 months, followed by regular check-ups every 1 to 2 years (3, 4, 6, 10, 12, and 14 years).
Vaccinations may also be administered based on recommendations and discussions with parents.
Before starting school, your child will undergo a check-up. You will receive a questionnaire from the school to be completed with the pediatrician concerning your child’s health.
The pediatrician provides various services including neurological assessments, dietetic consultations, and addressing parental concerns between annual check-ups.
The pediatrician supports adolescents, addressing issues related to growth, puberty, eating disorders, and functional disorders. They also provide support in school, professional, family, and psychosocial situations.
Our department currently consists of five pediatricians, supported by a team of nurses and medical assistants trained in pediatrics.
